Clearing Stored Passwords

If you are having problems logging into WebCT, you may have an old password saved in your browser. If this is the case, you will usually get an error that you have entered an incorrect user name or password before you even enter your username and password.

When you first log into a web site, your browser will ask you if you want to have it remember your password. You should always read these dialog boxes carefully and answer accordingly. You should NEVER save passwords on shared computers such as student lab stations or computers that are not in secure locations. If you choose to store a password, that means someone else could get into your account and possibly do damage to it.
