Problems Opening Files or Links
The procedure outlined below has been especially successful in fixing content file access problems within WebCT Vista. Specifically, this process has resolved at least the following:
- Clicking on links and receiving "File/Page Not Found" message
- Clicking on links and receiving "Unexpected System Error" message
While it is not guaranteed to work, you may want to give this a try if you are experiencing difficulties similar/identical to the descriptions above.
Steps to Restoring Internet Explorer's Advanced Setting Defaults
- Open Internet Explorer
- Click Tools
- Click Internet Options
- Click Advanced tab
- Click Restore Defaults button
- Click Apply button
- Click OK button
- Close Browser
- Reboot computer
