Problems Accessing Course
If you can log into WebCT but are having problems accessing a course, there are a few things you can try to remedy the problem. If you are having problems logging into WebCT, try using the logging in troubleshooting steps.
If you don't see the class on your My WebCT page
Courses for each semester appear a few days before the semester begins. If you are checking for your class before then, it will not appear. Additionally, courses may not be available immediately after you register for them. There may be up to a 24 hour delay. If it is a few days before the semester or the semester has already started and you registered for the class more than 24 hours ago, verify through OASIS (accessible via myIPFW) that you are registered for the class. If you are registered for the course, contact the Help Desk.
If you see the class on the My WebCT class but can't open it
Make sure to accept the 3 Java applet security warnings that pop up when you first log into WebCT. You can either click Yes to temporarily trust the applet or Always to permanently trust it.

It is also a good idea to perform the browser tune up to make sure you are using a supported browser and that you have your browser configured properly.
You should also make sure you have your pop-up blocker configured properly and search bars uninstalled.
If you click your class and get an error that "This course is not available yet. Contact the Section Instructor for this course." you will need to contact your instructor and find out if they plan to use WebCT. Not all instructors use WebCT even though all your courses appear in your My WebCT course list.
